Cancellation Policies

Yonder offers Stewards the option of choosing one of four cancellation policies (Relaxed, Balanced, Strict or Non-Refundable), designed to protect both Stewards and their guests. Each advertisement will clearly state the cancellation policy. If a guest decides to cancel (by clicking the "Cancel" button), they will be able to review the cancellation fees on their travel plan. All policies are based on the time of confirmation, not the time the reservation was requested.

Relaxed: Full refund 2 days prior to arrival

  • For a full refund of your stay or activity, cancellation must be made 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival.
  • Stays, if the guest cancels less than 48 hours in advance, the first night of stay will not be refunded.
  • If the guest decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent and uncompleted activities will not be refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded in case of cancellation.
  • Stays (the total nightly rate you're charged) and activities are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
    • If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Yonder within 24 hours of arrival. 
    • Yonder will mediate when necessary and has the final say in all disputes.
    • A stay or activity is officially canceled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page.
    • Cancellation policies may be superseded by the Guest Refund Policy, extenuating circumstances, or cancellations by Yonder for any other reason permitted under the Terms of Service. Please review these exceptions.
    • Yonder's Guest Booking Fee is refundable once per calendar year, and not refundable thereafter when a booking is canceled.

 

Balanced: Full refund 7 days prior to arrival

  • For a full refund of your stay or activity, cancellation must be made seven full days prior to the date of the scheduled arrival. 
  • If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, 50% of the stay or activity fees will be refunded.
  • If the guest decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent and uncompleted activities will not be refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded in case of cancellation.
  • Stays (the total nightly rate you're charged) and activities are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.

Strict: Full Refund within 2 days of booking online

  • For a full refund of stay or activity, cancellation must be made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to the scheduled arrival. 
  • For a 50% refund of stay or activity, cancellation must be at least 7 full days prior to the scheduled arrival date. 
  • If the guest books and cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent and uncompleted activities will not be refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded in case of cancellation.
