What is the difference between approval booking and instant booking?

Approval booking

You will receive an email when a guest requests to book and you can either approve or decline the booking.

We recommend approval booking for:

  • Stewards with third-party channel management software
  • Stewards with 3 or more calendars across different booking platforms
  • Bed and breakfasts, inns, property managers, or lodges with many units of the same type


Instant booking

You will receive an immediate confirmation when a guest books.

We recommend instant booking for:

  • Stewards who prefer to manage their own booking calendars
  • Stewards with less than three stays
